Victor 1

Victor 1 runs along Sydney's coastline, ducking under the approach path for Sydney's East-West runway. On a clear Sunday afternoon, the congestion of weekend pilots (including me!) makes Victor 1 one of the most dangerous pieces of airspace I know!

South Head: Start at South Head and track south.

Keep the cliffs on your right and you won't get lost.

Dunbar Head: Yep, the cliffs are still on the right.

Bondi: If you run out of cliffs, keep the beaches to your right.

Ben Buckler Point: Now that's living on the edge!
