Riverwood Downs
Overview:
Riverwood Downs
is the location of many of our client-funded retreats.
Being only 4½ star luxury, we use it for our Outback Survival course.

Getting there: The resort is at Barrington Tops, a few miles northwest of Dungog, inside the
Williamtown military area.
(So try to keep below radar and not be shot down.)
Railway Line: I find the best way is to follow the railway
line from Maitland to Dungog.
The railway line strings together a series of townships over which the military is reluctant to shoot you down.

Location:
Riverwood Downs
is at this loop in the river (you can't miss it.)
On the map, it looks like Pinnochio's nose and chin.
Land on the chin.

Landing: The landing site is spongy grass located at the intersection
of the two dirt trails in the middle of the photo.
Parking: I usually park next to the Give Way signs,
which I think is appropriate.

Going Home:
I recommend that you fly up to Taree, then down the coast back to Sydney.
Keep Australia to the right and you'll get back home.
Shipping: Feel free to direct boats through the channels on the way home.

Assistance:
If you see someone needing assistance, drop them some
Corporate Hoore brochures.
Shipwreck:
Here's someone who needed some long range planning.
Rafferty's:
You'll fly straight past Aeropelican, which is right near
Rafferty's Resort.
Why not drop in for a driver reviver?
