Polair under the Sydney Harbour Bridge

22 November 2004: When flying around Romeo 405, we always thought you should fly over the southern pylon.

That is, until we saw Polair flying under the Sydney Harbour Bridge!

Polair joins the small list of aircraft that have flown under the harbour bridge.

6 Apr	Bruce	Its not uncommon to round off a session in the 747 simulator with a sortie under the Harbour Bridge. This mission has a success rate of less then 50 percent. You need to approach at less than 50 and pull up as the nose goes under the bridge in order to drop the tail to clear the deck but not touch the water. Some crew practice this manoeuvre with such fervour youd swear theyre up to something
