Panorama House

Panorama House is less than half an hour from Sydney, has a cafeteria-style restaurant, and parking for a few helicopters.

Getting there: Fly to Appin, then follow the road southeast to the coast. It's on the cliff.

Approach: Watch out for wires! If you are approaching from the west, you pass three sets of wires (including one set right on the edge of the grass) plus three flagpoles.

Easier approach: If the wind is right, the easiest way is in over the cliff.
Don't land on the grass to the south - it has wires on it.

Final: Watch out for pedestrians as you approach. They like to stand there waving.

Parking: There's plenty of parking next to the restaurant.

Postscript: It appears that someone has had an accident since we were here last. I hope they are okay.
